Second year coach Levi Witt is confident his squad can compete for a league title.. "We've got two outstanding and fast forwards, a pair of really strong center mid-fielders who both play club soccer and a top-notch goalie," Witt told the Delaware ThisWeek. "There's no reason why we shouldn't win the league. It's one of our goals and I tell the kids constantly that they need to expect to win it, not hope to win it." This year's team is blessed with senior leadership and new freshmen.

Senior Jeremy Buchanan will be a third-year starter for the Eagles, and is an OHSAA Honorable Mention player . Senior Ryan Zinn brings his second year experience and  blazing speed. Zinn was named MOCAL  second team and Quist MOCAl Honorable Mention.  Captains are senior Ryan Zinn and junior Jackson Quist (mid-field).

The Eagles finished fourth in MOCAl last year. They won the league in 2006 and 2007. Coach Witt was the junior varsity coach and varsity assistant under former head coach Aaron Welsh.

In 2006, DCS won the OHSAA District III runner-up title, a first, for any team in our league. DCS grads Cody Snouffer, Andrew Hartman and Austin Hill have played collegiately.
