Giving and Receiving

This Christmas season, DCS and Delaware Bible Church gave away 171 Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes! The 8th and 9th grade classes raised over $400 this past quarter to give to Gift of Compassion. The students were able to purchase one African drought survival kit, blanket and tarp, 6 chickens, 3 Bibles, 2 goats, 2 safe water for life systems, 1 soccer ball and various vaccinations. It is SO much better to give than to receive!
