Legacy Kids Servathon

On the day of the Servathon, Friday, October 3, DCS students spend the afternoon assisting and volunteering at 27 charities.  Every student in the school is assigned to a service project.  Younger students design placemats for a local mission who serves Thanksgiving dinner to those in need in the community.  Other students visit nursing homes.  Older students scrub walls and floors, paint fences, sort clothes and shelve food at local agencies.  DCS wants to serve our community by implementing John 13:35 “Showing Christ by serving others.”  If you wish further information regarding the Servathon or corporate sponsorship, please email Jane Miner at jane.miner@dcschool.orgor call the school at 740-363-8425.
