The AAA Traffic Safety Poster Contest is open to students in grades K-12. The winner could receive a cash prize of $25, $50, 475, $100, or $250. Age categories are K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Entries must be received by March 7th. Details are in the school office or from art teacher, Mrs. Price.

The Kroger “I Can Make History” Contest is open to students in grades 4-12. Students will honor Black History Month though art, essay or poetry. $30,000 in scholarships, laptops or zoo memberships will be offered to winners. For an entry form, see the school office. Deadline is February 28th.

Dominican College will host Ohio Business Week June 19-25 for interested 10-12th graders.  Attendees will develop leadership skills and gain business experience and have fun in a college setting. The camp is sponsored by Ohio businesses to promote free enterprise development. Cost is $350. Applications are in the school office and are due April 29th.

6-8th grade students with a standardized test score in the 95th percentile or have otherwise demonstrated exceptional talent, creativity or leadership ability may attend the OWU Gifted Program summer camp at Ohio Wesleyan University.
