Elementary
Sixth Grade
Sixth grade is the bridge between the elementary years and the middle school years. Oral reports, research projects and PowerPoint presentations are a few of the major projects students will complete. The study of earth and space mean a trip to the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum or Perkins Observatory. The Native American History study means a field trip to the Ohio Caverns or perhaps the Olentangy Indian Caverns. Their study of animal behavior, biosphere and the balance of nature means a trip to the Columbus Zoo.
Sixth graders enjoy fun days like Western Day, Constellation Day and Polar Day. The class verse is: “…I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky.” From Genesis 22.
