I became a teacher because...: I needed a job. I was originally trained as a research pharmacologist.
My favorite thing about DC...: The relaxed atmosphere, chapels where the Word is proclaimed and teachers who enjoy their job.
Most memorable moment in teaching so far...: Being the victim of a senior prank my first year teaching. The seniors filled my room and closet with newspapers and when I opened the door, a fan blew feathers everywhere.
When not at school I enjoy...: Gardening, taking walks outdoors, fishing, hunting, hanging out with family, reading and camping.
I am currently learning...: Where my true love needs to lie. I get so caught up in the things that "have to" get done that I fall short of where I know I need to be spiritually. I need to get to bed earlier!
My students do not know that I...: Snowmobile.
