- I became a teacher because...
- When I chose education I did so because of an internal drive to study and learn and share with others. A few years after my training I became a Christian and discovered that my "internal drive" to teach was because God had given me the spiritual gift of teaching.

- I love the freedom to reveal God's marvelous design as well as His mighty power in all that I teach.

- Flower gardening, reading and grandchildren.

- As a science teacher there is always something new and on the cutting edge of research. Most of my reading is coming from Answers in Genesis or ICR (institute of Creation Research).

- Learned to fly fish and to fence in college. I still enjoy "wetting a line" occasionally on the fly rod, but my efforts to pursue fencing have all been "foiled.".
