I became a teacher because...: I love to work with children. I especially enjoy teaching little ones to read.
My favorite thing about DC...: The parent support and encouragement of staff to one another. It's a joy to teach here.
Most memorable moment in teaching so far...: When a kindergarten student told a little girl to open her mouth and when she did, he put a fly on her tongue!.
When not at school I enjoy...: Reading, baking, time with children and grandchildren.
I am currently learning...: Lots of new things about the book of Esther and her life.
My students do not know that I...: Could live on the beach year round. I love the sound of the ocean and the sand under my feet.
