- As far as the facility is concerned, it is the red lockers in the elementary wing. I always enjoy the giving hearts of students, parents and grandparents.
- Most memorable moment in teaching so far...
- The day 1000 praying mantis babies hatched in an open container in my second grade classroom. You could hear the screaming all over the building. Do you know how hard it is to catch a baby praying mantis without killing it? (At the time it was illegal to kill a praying mantis).

- Patience. I want patience and I want it now. It doesn’t work that way. I am also learning how to play again when I am with my 2 ½ year old granddaughter.

- When my children were small, I owned and operated a bulk food store out of my home. I did this in order to be a stay at home mom. It was nothing for me to heft a 100 pound bag of flour out of our basement and place onto the kitchen counter. I also sold fresh bread at the store and baked 18 loaves in a day.
